Emily Foos: I was walking to the thrift store next door and just couldn't resist taking this photo....someone had de-pants one of the mannequins in the storefront window. **Check out the sign hanging next to where the pants are now sitting..'This area protected by 24 hour video surveillance. Equipment in use to aid in the prosecution of any crimes committed against this facility'..don't they ever watch the video?! I mean, come on, how long has the guy been standing here with no pants?! Too funny! #CityCenterAurora

Emily Foos: The City of Aurora seems to like strange sundials...this is one of them, though I think the building there at the top of the hill to the west has made this one non-functional. It is located in the little name-unknown park area that seems to be on its way towards being an excellent example of urban decay. #CityCenterAurora

Aurora Public Library
Emily Foos: The City Center complex has been completely redeveloped, with the exception of the library....this is the same building I used to hang out in for hours on end back in high school. When I got my driver's license I would borrow my mom's station wagon and drive up to the library..it's the only place I really cared to drive to (what can I say, I'm kind of a nerd, and nerds enjoy hanging out at the library...) #CityCenterAurora
Denver School of Massage Therapy
Emily Foos: Stop by here on the weekends (Saturdays & Sundays from 8am-5:30pm) for massage therapy services at affordable rates. A certain number of hours of hands on experience is required of all massage therapy students in order to graduate. The weekend clinics held at the school offer you the chance to relax and experience the healing properties of massage therapy at a low cost, and at the same time gives students the hands on experience they need to succeed. And theae students are learning from the best...my dad is one of the instructors at the Aurora campus and he has been doing this for over 20 years! Emily Foos: This was a strange little park area kind of hidden back off the street in between two office buildings..I have no idea what it is called nor if it does now, or ever has served any particular purpose. It was kind of fun to walk around in, although there isn't really any distinct or continuous walkway through the quasi-park. There is a sidewalk leading into the area from Exposition Ave on one end and another sidewalk on the other end that sort of leads to an apartment complex (you have to walk through what appears to be a drainage ditch to get there,) but in the middle there is a few different stairways, a gazebo-type structure, a somewhat confusing sundial that was put out of order by the office building that sits up the hill to the west, an area tucked back in a corner that appears to have once been an elaborate water feature of some kind, and this odd combination of railroad ties and grass that resembles ampitheatre style seating, only there is nothing that resembles an ampitheatre to go with it. Like I said, it is a strange little park/area, and the only people I saw while I was there were a couple of employees from the building to the west standing on the other side of the fence that sits atop the hill, taking a smoke break, and pretty much staring at me the whole time! I am definitely curious what its purpose is/was! I almost felt like I wasn't supposed to be there, but it's an open public space and there are no signs posted anywhere saying otherwise. I thought it was a pretty interesting area...almost looked like a place in the beginning stages of urban decay. #CityCenterAurora
