Brass Monkey
Kashyap Joshi: The main selling point for the happy hour at Brass Monkey is not the discount, though $2 off all domestic beer and wine is pretty good. It's the hours. The happy hour at this Meatpacking District bar runs from noon until 7pm, Monday through Friday. So if you get a really long lunch break, why not start happy hour early by popping in for a beer in the middle of the day?

Lake Pavilion
Kashyap Joshi: Ordinary place. the first time i went, it was mid-day on a monday. SUPER CROWDED. the second time i went, they split the room so 3/4 was reserved for a wedding party. the food isn't bad, neither is the service but this place doesn't really stand out compared to the other restaurants in the neighborhood. they probably would get good business though because it is right next to the highway and their restaurant glows at night with neon signs.
Loreto Playground
Kashyap Joshi: This playground honors Alfred Loreto (1902-1950), slain New York City Police Officer. On the evening of July 21, 1950, Loreto, off-duty, was standing near his home on Hering Avenue in the Morris Park section of the Bronx when he saw two men with guns kidnapping a neighbor. Loreto pursued the two escaping gunmen, rescued the victim, but lost his life to a bullet.
Red Chopstick
Kashyap Joshi: Came here for the first time this year..I was amazed how good their stinky tofu and Taiwanese sausage were. It was so good and tasty. It will be on my "must order" list! We also ordered 3 cup chicken / Sauteed pea shoots with Garlic / bamboo shoots with pork. They were all tasty. Flavor was just right but the 3 cup chicken was just a bit salty..maybe i'm not sure to food that's too salty.Overall this is a good place for small or big hang out. Staffs were really patient.

Kashyap Joshi: Authentic South Indian staples draw dosa devotees to this brightly lit cafeteria in the basement of a Hindu temple in Flushing; decor’s at an absolute minimum and you’ll bus your own tray, but real-deal eats and cheap tabs have inspired a cultlike following here.
