Justin Thomas
I'm a guitar pickin' Realtor from Louisville, KY. I grew up in The Highlands and I currently live there as well. I consider myself a Louisville expert with a major focus on The Highlands and Clifton / Crescent Hill areas, but I know our entire awesome city very well! I also am a big fan of photography. I enjoy snapping photos all throughout the city and posting them on my neighborhood facebook pages.

Holy Grale
Justin Thomas: The Holy Grale in the Highlands is a quaint little beer bar with amazing food. With 26 different taps to choose from, you are certain to find the beer you are looking for here. Formerly a Unitarian Church, the building has been transformed into a very happening spot. Additional seating upstairs in the choir loft, or outside on the patio where this picture was taken
Louisville Beer Store
Justin Thomas: The Louisville Beer Store is a great little spot in the NuLu district on Market Street near downtown Louisville where you can enjoy craft beers from all over the world. There are hundreds of bottles to choose from and an amazing selection of rotating taps. This is a shot from their back patio.
21c Museum Hotel
Justin Thomas: It's an art museum. It's a hotel. It's super cool and unique! This clever boutique hotel started in Louisville and has popped up in a few other locations across the country making a splash. Exhibits change but there are some pretty solid things that remain year round. Go to the elevator lobby.
DiOrio's Pizza & Pub
Justin Thomas: There is definitely no shortage of delicious pizza in the Highlands, and DiOrio's fits right in! This is a great place to watch a game, host an event or gathering, or just grab a beer and some pizza. They have a 30" pizza if you're really hungry. There is another location in St Matthews on Wallace Ave as well.
Bunz Burgerz
Justin Thomas: Another one of the best burgers in Louisville is Bunz Burgerz on Baxter Ave in the Highlands. It's a small place, but they have some really creative homemade poppers, different chicken sandwiches, as well as the obvious... an amazingly seasoned burger, delicious bun and don't forget their signature sauce, Bunz Sauce. Get it on the burger and use it for dipping your fries! Outdoor dining on the sidewalk is fun for people watching.
Hogan's Fountain Pavilion, Cherokee Park
Justin Thomas: This old school teepee at Hogan's Fountain in Cherokee Park is a Louisville staple. It survived a massive tornado in the 70's and has overcome recent adversity in the way of a new master plan so that it could be torn down. You can rent this thing out for your next party through the Metro Parks website.
